By now you have all seen something from 3D Light FX. From Marvel to sports, their innovative and stylish lights have literally and figuratively lit up rooms. The look of the lights are authentic and officially licensed, and they are a must-have for any fan of their favorite franchise.
Good news, Star Wars fans! We here at Podcast 66 are excited to share the news of the new Star Wars line from 3D Light FX! Just yesterday, we were gifted the new Darth Vader light from the line from them, and I have to say it is one of the coolest Star Wars items that I own.
Vader now hangs proudly in my bedroom (my wife even approves!). His look is truly authentic and channels the essence and presence of Darth Vader. There is much more after Vader though, as later this year you can get your hands on C-3PO, R2-D2, The Death Star, Vader's hand and saber, Yoda's hand and saber, The Falcon, and more!
Right now you can get your hands on Boba Fett, Vader, and Yoda by clicking here.
We here at Podcast 66 highly recommend the new Star Wars line from 3D Light Fx, as it will enhance your Star Wars collection and put a perfect touch on your Star Wars room (we all know you have one).
Check out some pictures of the available lights below, and go to 3DLightFX.com for more details:

The Star Wars saga has an uncanny ability to instantly create connections and memories within its own storytelling and with those who are consuming it at the same time. One of my favorite things is exploring the connections and memories that I have with Star Wars and hearing other peoples experience's as well.
One of my biggest remembrances with a Star Wars moment is the famous line:
Mos Eisley spaceport: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.
I was watching Episode IV: A New Hope one night during my last winter break of college, right before I was about to head back for my final semester before graduation. Something about that line and that moment hit me. I paused the movie and just put in my school name to replace Mos Eisley spaceport. "UMass Dartmouth: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." Saying that back a few times back brought back a whole flood of memories and moments and events that happened over the course of my college career, good and bad. Classes, projects, late night partying, playing rugby, and friends. Everything from the past four years of college hit me and I began to understand the importance of it. Much like Luke needed to be taught and molded into becoming the Jedi he was destined to be, as did I need to be taught and molded into the business professional to begin my working career.
As always the inverse works just as well. Something from our daily lives can remind us of a certain moment or moments in Star Wars that you will always remember.
Last June I binge watched all 6 seasons of The Clone Wars in the span of a week and a half. I was in between leaving one job and starting a new one and had the month off. Around the same time the album VOID by Boston hardcore band Vanna was released and I played that album non-stop when I wasn't watching The Clone Wars or listening to any podcasts that were episode discussions. Now that it's been almost a year since then every time I listen to that album I'm reminded of watching the series. All the awesome story arcs; The Citadel, Mortis, Darth Maul on Mandalore, the finale Yoda arc and the new characters that will have lasting impressions; Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, Asajj Ventress, and Hondo Ohnaka.
So what about you? What are your Star Wars connections that remind you of something from your life or the inverse that bring you back to something from Star Wars?

But there's more!
You can have a more direct channel to win just for being a Podcast 66 listener! If you will be at any of the weekends down at Disney World simply find one of the giant cards (pictured below), take a picture in front of one, and tweet us @Podcast66 with the picture and include #ToppsStarWars in your post. We will select winners through there.
Topps has been a licensee of Star Wars since the very beginning in 1977 when the first trading cards were released to coincide with the release of the film. Those original Topps trading cards featured the iconic blue starfield design that has since become synonymous with Star Wars. Disney has taken that vintage trading card design and created billboard signage throughout the park to help celebrate Star Wars Weekends.

We here at Podcast 66 are excited to announce a brand new show being added to the Podcast 66 Network: Saga Discussions.
Our numbers and audience have skyrocketed in the year 2015, and our network is going to expand right along with that. We introduced The Clone Wars: Rewind a few months ago, and that show has become a hit.
Saga Discussions is a monthly show that will start in June. The show will take interesting topics and questions from the Star Wars Saga and present them to Ryan and Daniel to discuss.
The first topic will be "Who is the chosen one?" Ryan and Daniel will dive deep into the subject of the chosen one, and discuss who they think it is. We will also start exploring questions about the creative side, the fan perspective, character breakdowns, and so much more.
Saga Discussions is the third show in the Podcast 66 Network, joining the proper show and The Clone Wars: Rewind.
Guests and roundtables will also be a part in the show. Have a topic idea or question for an episode of Saga Discussions? Email the show firstname.lastname@example.org. Saga Discussions will appear anywhere you can find Podcast 66, as well as Podcast66.com.
With such a rich and diverse universe, the possibilities for discussions are endless. Join us each month as we try and dip our feet into this mass river of content.
