Last year, Podcast 66 brought in the holiday season with a bang, debuting their first ever Sithmas Party. They played games, shared holiday memories, sang songs, and threw in some skits for added fun. It has been our most downloaded episode ever, and it will be a show we will never forget.
This year however, we decided it would be fun to do some good in the name of Star Wars. This year's holiday episode will be called The 2016 Sithmas Special.
We will be going LIVE starting at 8 PM ET on December 21st, and will be going for two hours. During those two hours, we will be raising money for Toys for Tots. If you don't know what Toys for Tots is, check out who they are in their own words:
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
In summary, Toys for Tots delivers toys to underprivileged youth who may not have much on Christmas. Most of us remember getting gifts and running to the tree on Christmas morning, but for some, that is just not a reality.
So how are we doing all this?
During the 2-hour event, we will be encouraging listeners to donate at Podcast66.com/donate. Through that, you will be taken to our FirstGiving.com page, where you will be able to donate directly to Toys for Tots. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO TOYS FOR TOTS, and we will never see a penny of this money.
It is Christmas, so we don't want you to leave empty-handed, either. This year's special is sponsored by Topps Trading Cards, and 3D Light FX. They will be giving away prizes to those who give on December 21st during our special.
Here is what you can win, and how you can win it:
If you give:
$5: You will be entered in to win Star Wars Trading Cards from Topps. We have beautiful cards from all eras of the saga, and we will send you awesome cards to add to your Star Wars collection. We will be randomly selecting dozens of listeners who give at least $5 to win.
$10: 2 winners will be randomly selected from those who give at least $10 to recieve a Star Wars deco light from 3D Light FX (pictured below) these deco lights are perfect for any Star Wars fan, and light up any room with a bang.

We will be joined by Jimmy Mac of Rebel Force Radio, Mark Von Ohlen from Topps, and many other surprise guests throughout the night. You will have to tune in to hear just who will show up.
We will also be playing games, and spreading holiday cheer, Star Wars style. Any amount will help, even $1 will help make a difference in a child's life this Christmas. Let's show the world the power of Star Wars fandom, and let's help provide joy this holiday season.
You will be able to hear us LIVE at Mixlr.com/Podcast66. Share, listen, donate, and let's be a Force for Change!
While we can't attend Star Wars Celebration Europe, we can still enjoy. Like other fans across the world, we are watching every second of the live stream and dissecting every piece of news that comes from the weekend.
What better way to do that than a live show?
Thats right, for the first time in our show's history, we are going live online to discuss the latest reveals and we want to hang with you.
For each night, we will be going live at 9:15 PM ET and will be breaking it all down. Go to Mixlr.com/Podcast66 or stay tuned to our social media feeds to check it out! Come join in the chat and talk with us about your favorite moments and let's have some fun.

Here's to a very MERRY SITHmas and a Happy "STAR WARS" New Year! MTFBWY.
Next week, Daniel will be hosting the FIRST Annual "Who's the More Foolish" Roundtable Championship Tournament at his home in Orlando, FL.
What is "Who's the More Foolish"?
"WTMF" is our own brand of STAR WARS trivia, presented on our show in sort of a "game show" style. Longtime listeners of our podcast will remember the debut of the game with celebrity contestant Vanessa Marshall, from last year. We also had a recent round of WTMF on our "50th Episode Halloween Special", which pit our host Ryan Donoho against frequent guest host Abraham Couch in a frightening holiday themed game.
Well, the Christmas season is nearly upon us and to help celebrate, Daniel has decided to hold a high stakes, tournament style round of WTMF to be featured on our upcoming "Podcast 66 Sithmas Party" episode.
We're looking for our listeners to get involved! How do YOU earn a spot among the elite and become eligible to WIN BIG? Read on, friends...
The way in which "Who's the More Foolish" operates, each contestant will have a "follower" that they are playing for. That's right, one of our listeners will be earning prizes... if the "fool" that they're "following" comes out on top in our game of SW trivia!
For this first annual championship game, we will have FOUR contestants, competing head to head in person, with Daniel hosting. Three rounds of "one on one" trivia. As each round is finished, several of our contestants will be eliminated until we decide in a final round, which of our four "fools" is the most knowledgable STAR WARS fan.
In order for YOU to become eligible as a "follower" and earn your chance to WIN, you'll simply have to follow us on Twitter @Podcast66!
Beginning Monday, Nov. 9th and throughout the week, we will be posting random STAR WARS trivia on our Twitter feed. If you are the FIRST of our followers to reply @Podcast66 with the CORRECT answer, you will be selected as one of our "fools who follow".
There will be SW trivia questions posted in our feed each day, Monday-Friday of this week [Nov. 9th-13th], with the final question being posted on the evening of Thursday, November 12th. The exact time that these questions are posted will be random.
At the end of the week, all of our eligible followers will be contacted via Twitter DM or email and given further details as to how their involvement in the tournament will commence. PRIZES are guaranteed for each eligible contestant, with chances to WIN even BIGGER PRIZES as the tournament rolls out.
Daniel will be recording the FIRST Annual WTMF Roundtable Championship Tournament on Sunday, November 15th. However, the results of the game will not be revealed until our "Podcast 66 Sithmas Party" episode drops, on Friday, November 27th.
Make sure and follow us on Twitter @Podcast66, brush up on your STAR WARS trivia and be ready to play "Who's the More Foolish", all this week at PODCAST 66!!!
We're celebrating the upcoming holiday season in a very special way, here at Podcast 66. We'll be recording a holiday themed audio drama to be featured on our BIG "Christmas Special" episode.
We're looking for one of our listeners to help out with a particular role in this audio drama. Yes, we need someone who can impersonate Jedi Master Yoda. Whether you sound like Frank Oz or Tom Kane, please step forward and lend your talents towards this fun project!
There will be a special STAR WARS prize for the voice talent that we select as the best Yoda impression. Please record yourself reciting a few lines of dialogue from the SW films OR "The Clone Wars" series that feature any of Master Yoda speaking. You can record yourself in a variety of ways, including the use of the "Voice Memos" app on your iPhone! Once you have an audio file to send, you can do so by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Please send all entries to us by Friday, November 13th to be considered for the role of Jedi Master Yoda in our special audio drama holiday project.
Thanks to all of our talented listeners and MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

By now you have all seen something from 3D Light FX. From Marvel to sports, their innovative and stylish lights have literally and figuratively lit up rooms. The look of the lights are authentic and officially licensed, and they are a must-have for any fan of their favorite franchise.
Good news, Star Wars fans! We here at Podcast 66 are excited to share the news of the new Star Wars line from 3D Light FX! Just yesterday, we were gifted the new Darth Vader light from the line from them, and I have to say it is one of the coolest Star Wars items that I own.
Vader now hangs proudly in my bedroom (my wife even approves!). His look is truly authentic and channels the essence and presence of Darth Vader. There is much more after Vader though, as later this year you can get your hands on C-3PO, R2-D2, The Death Star, Vader's hand and saber, Yoda's hand and saber, The Falcon, and more!
Right now you can get your hands on Boba Fett, Vader, and Yoda by clicking here.
We here at Podcast 66 highly recommend the new Star Wars line from 3D Light Fx, as it will enhance your Star Wars collection and put a perfect touch on your Star Wars room (we all know you have one).
Check out some pictures of the available lights below, and go to 3DLightFX.com for more details:

The Star Wars saga has an uncanny ability to instantly create connections and memories within its own storytelling and with those who are consuming it at the same time. One of my favorite things is exploring the connections and memories that I have with Star Wars and hearing other peoples experience's as well.
One of my biggest remembrances with a Star Wars moment is the famous line:
Mos Eisley spaceport: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.
I was watching Episode IV: A New Hope one night during my last winter break of college, right before I was about to head back for my final semester before graduation. Something about that line and that moment hit me. I paused the movie and just put in my school name to replace Mos Eisley spaceport. "UMass Dartmouth: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." Saying that back a few times back brought back a whole flood of memories and moments and events that happened over the course of my college career, good and bad. Classes, projects, late night partying, playing rugby, and friends. Everything from the past four years of college hit me and I began to understand the importance of it. Much like Luke needed to be taught and molded into becoming the Jedi he was destined to be, as did I need to be taught and molded into the business professional to begin my working career.
As always the inverse works just as well. Something from our daily lives can remind us of a certain moment or moments in Star Wars that you will always remember.
Last June I binge watched all 6 seasons of The Clone Wars in the span of a week and a half. I was in between leaving one job and starting a new one and had the month off. Around the same time the album VOID by Boston hardcore band Vanna was released and I played that album non-stop when I wasn't watching The Clone Wars or listening to any podcasts that were episode discussions. Now that it's been almost a year since then every time I listen to that album I'm reminded of watching the series. All the awesome story arcs; The Citadel, Mortis, Darth Maul on Mandalore, the finale Yoda arc and the new characters that will have lasting impressions; Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, Asajj Ventress, and Hondo Ohnaka.
So what about you? What are your Star Wars connections that remind you of something from your life or the inverse that bring you back to something from Star Wars?
Let us know! Email us at email@example.com or share your thoughts with us on Twitter or Facebook!
And as always, May The Force Be With You!

But there's more!
You can have a more direct channel to win just for being a Podcast 66 listener! If you will be at any of the weekends down at Disney World simply find one of the giant cards (pictured below), take a picture in front of one, and tweet us @Podcast66 with the picture and include #ToppsStarWars in your post. We will select winners through there.
Topps has been a licensee of Star Wars since the very beginning in 1977 when the first trading cards were released to coincide with the release of the film. Those original Topps trading cards featured the iconic blue starfield design that has since become synonymous with Star Wars. Disney has taken that vintage trading card design and created billboard signage throughout the park to help celebrate Star Wars Weekends.
